Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone lead 'Tu Mil Jaaye', first song from 'King'
On his 61st birthday, SRK gave fans a first musical taste of 'King', pairing Arijit Singh's voice with an Ed Sheeran rap.

Shah Rukh Khan marked his 61st birthday by unveiling 'Tu Mil Jaaye', the first song from his upcoming action film 'King'. The track stars him opposite Deepika Padukone and dropped on Monday.
The song is a romantic dance number sung by Arijit Singh, with an English rap written and performed by Ed Sheeran. Madhubanti Bagchi also lends her voice. Sachin-Jigar composed the music, Kumaar wrote the lyrics, and Piyush-Shazia handled the choreography.
The video opens with a line of SRK dialogue: "Main qaatil nahi, aashiq hoon, aur nishana meri mashooka, aur woh aashiq hi kya jo dil cheer na de." It then moves to a coastal setting, where the pair's chemistry takes centre stage. Khan appears shirtless and noticeably toned, a detail already drawing attention from fans.
Not everyone will find it entirely new, though. While the sound is fresh in texture, the visuals recall 'Besharam Rang' from 'Pathaan', the earlier Khan film with the same director.
That link is no accident. 'King' is directed by Siddharth Anand, and it is SRK's second film with him after 'Pathaan'. Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures produce it. The film is billed as a stylish, high-octane action entertainer, with the song blending romance and action.
The cast is crowded: Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhay Verma and Arshad Warsi all play key roles. 'King' reaches cinemas worldwide on December 24, 2026, so this song is the start of a long promotional run.
You can watch 'Tu Mil Jaaye' on the Zee Music Company and T-Series YouTube channels. Read the original report here.
