Loreal Sarkisian pairs Texas letterman jacket with $17,000 Hermès bag on game night
The Longhorns coach's wife, a professional stylist, turned a Halloween home game into another runway moment in Austin.
Loreal Sarkisian, wife of Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian, showed up to the Longhorns' Halloween-night home game against Mississippi State in a new Texas letterman jacket and a black Hermès handbag. She posted the look on Instagram on November 1 with the caption "A little festive tonight."
The jacket, she said, came from the brand Roots of Fight. She thanked the company and called it her "officially my new favorite." It was the one piece she singled out, along with the bag.
That bag is the Hermès Constance 18 in black Epsom leather with gold hardware, according to Jewels Aficionado, which lists it at $17,000. Its adjustable strap lets her carry it on the shoulder or across the body.
The look fits a pattern. Sarkisian, who goes by the nickname First Lady of Texas Football, regularly posts her game-day outfits. For the Red River Rivalry on October 10, she wore Schiaparelli leather pants and a triple-buckle belt, a Hervé Léger top and a Korman Fine Jewelry horseshoe necklace. Against Florida a week later, she mixed Louis Vuitton, Chloé and Bottega Veneta.
Fashion is her day job. A former track and field athlete in Tallahassee, Florida, she now works as a stylist for celebrities and business executives. In a January 2025 interview with WFAA, she said people may see her only as a fashionista, but "for forever I was an athlete." The letterman jacket nods to that history.
Fans have noticed. Comments on the post praised the outfit, and one called it "so simple but one of her best outfits yet." Her Instagram following sits around 183,000, and her weekly looks have become part of the Texas game-day routine.
On the field, Texas beat Mississippi State 31-3 to improve to 6-2. The Longhorns next face Missouri on November 7. Expect another outfit post to follow.
