Kangana Ranaut has received interim relief from the Delhi High Court in her case seeking protection of her personality rights against AI generated deepfakes, manipulated videos, and false quotes. The court has restrained the unauthorised use of the actor and BJP MP's name, image, voice, and other personal attributes. It has also directed Meta Platforms to remove the identified infringing content and asked the concerned authorities to take steps to block websites carrying such material. The order comes after Kangana approached the court over content allegedly using her identity without permission, including fabricated speeches and digitally altered images and videos.
